Just seven minutes from Overland Ranch, Southlands’ Town Square comes alive every Thursday through August 13 with free live music, food and drink specials from participating restaurants, and dancing in the heart of Aurora’s most vibrant outdoor shopping district. No tickets, no cover — just show up and enjoy a great summer evening with the whole family. This Thursday enjoy the sounds of Groove n’ Motion, that tight, big band sound with a focused five-piece horn line, five outstanding and energizing vocalists, and a rockin’ four-piece rhythm section!

ARAPAHOE COUNTY FAIR — 120TH ANNIVERSARY
The 120th Annual Arapahoe County Fair is back and bigger than ever at the Arapahoe County Fairgrounds in Aurora — four days of classic county fair fun with serious modern upgrades. Your $30 general admission ticket covers unlimited carnival rides, rodeos, 4-H exhibits, stage entertainment, tractor pulls, a spectacular drone show (weather permitting), and all-new 2026 attractions including Animal Kingdom shows, the Globe of Death motorcycle sphere, and the ShenanGuns! The 2026 Douglas County Fair & Rodeo is ten days of PRCA rodeos, carnival rides, 4-H exhibits, a western marketplace, a drone show finale, a car show, llama competitions, farm-to-table brunch, mutton bustin’, and the best fair food in the south metro. This year features two headliner concerts for the first time: country legend Trace Adkins on opening night (Jul. 24) and AWOLNATION on Saturday night (Jul. 25). VIVA LA ISLA DEL ENCANTO FESTIVAL
Aurora transforms into the “Island of Enchantment” for the second year in a row as the Puerto Rican Chamber of Commerce of Colorado presents this officially city-proclaimed cultural celebration at Bicentennial Park. Two days of high-energy live music featuring salsa, merengue, and traditional Bomba y Plena; authentic Puerto Rican cuisine including lechón, mofongo, and empanadillas; an artisan market with Puerto Rican-owned small businesses; cultural workshops; and activities for all ages. July 26 is officially proclaimed Isla Del Encanto Day by the City of Aurora.
