Meet the Builders: Get to Know Pulte Homes

There’s something different about a builder who wants you to be part of the process from the very beginning. Not just picking a house — but picking your homesite, walking a design center, choosing the tile, the flooring, the details that make a house actually feel like yours. That’s the Pulte experience, and it’s one of the reasons we’re so excited to have them building new homes at Overland Ranch.

On Thursday, April 23 from 4:00–6:00 p.m. at Blackstone Country Club (join the interest list to RSVP), you’ll have the chance to meet Shannon Pachikara, Pulte’s Vice President of Sales, along with her sales team. It’s a casual, come-as-you-are evening with food, drinks, and real conversations about what’s coming to this new home community. Here’s a little preview to get you excited.

A Collection Built for Real Life

Pulte will be offering four floor plans at Overland Ranch — all two-story, all thoughtfully designed for the kinds of families this new construction community is built to welcome. The range starts at 2,225 square feet and goes up from there, with three to six bedrooms depending on how you configure your home. That kind of flexibility is rare, and it’s intentional.

Two of the plans — the Loyola and the Furlong — feature two-story volume in the great room. We’re talking 20-foot ceilings. If you’ve spent time in a home where every room feels like it’s pressing down on you, you’ll understand immediately why that matters.

The Loyola deserves its own spotlight. It can comfortably accommodate five bedrooms without touching the basement — and if you finish it, you’re looking at six. Shannon makes a point worth noting: every secondary bedroom on the second floor has a walk-in closet. For growing families — especially ones with teenagers — that’s not a small thing.

Pulte also offers one main-floor owner suite plan for buyers who prefer that layout. It’s been well-received at other communities along the Front Range, and it rounds out a lineup that genuinely has something for everyone.

Elevations That Belong Here

The architecture for Overland Ranch is specific to this new home community, and the three elevation styles — Modern Farmhouse, Modern Prairie, and Modern Craftsman — give the streetscape real variety without anything feeling out of place. The Modern Prairie in particular threads a needle that’s harder than it sounds: it brings in contemporary elements without sticking out like a sore thumb in a suburban setting. With three elevations per plan across four floor plans, you won’t be looking at a carbon-copy neighborhood here in Overland Ranch.

Build It Yours, From the Ground Up

Pulte calls themselves a “dirt builder,” and they mean it as a point of pride. The experience they want buyers to have starts with selecting a homesite, moves through personalizing finishes at their design center, and ends at the front door of a home that genuinely reflects who you are. That design center is brand new — located right off I-25 in the Shanahan building — and it’s going to be a destination in itself. The newest materials, the best options, all in one place. Overland Ranch buyers will be among the first to experience it.

From contract to close, Pulte estimates about six months — a realistic timeline that lets you build from the ground up without feeling like you’re waiting forever to get into your new construction home.

A Mortgage Built for the Way You’re Buying

Pulte Mortgage is headquartered right here in Denver, so you’ll always be working with someone local. For dirt buyers, they offer an extended rate lock — meaning you can secure your rate at contract and know your payment before you ever close. For buyers who need to move faster, Pulte also builds inventory homes with competitive rate options available.
